Shopping Experience at Chinacoolbuy,You will Like It
... or go backI love my iPhone External Li-Polymer Battery(http://www.chinacoolbuy.com/ipod-and-iphone/iphone/batteries-en.html) but on flights over 90 minutes I find my iPod's battery life dying. At one point I had a Mophie Juice Pack Case and Rechargeable Battery for iPod touch 2G, 3G (Black) which worked great, but it was bulky and was a bit unpredictable. However, on a flight to Chicago I left the plane but my Mophie was left behind.... so I was in need of another auxiliary battery pack. That is when I purchased the Dexim.
Observations :
The Dexim works as a charger to the device. Once plugged in my (nearly dead iPod) was up to a full charge within about 1 hour.
Fully charging my iPod seemed to pull about 30-40% of the charge out of the dexim.
The Dexim has three led lights that serve as indicators showing the amount of charge that remains in the device.
Much cheaper than other auxiliary (read Mophie Juice Pack Case and Rechargeable Battery for iPod touch 2G, 3G (Black) battery back-ups.
Small and light weight - it easily fits into my iPod case .
When connected it is a bit flimsy - You(likely) would not be able to play games on your iPod during the charge.
Charges through your computers USB connection - I never measured the time, but it seemed to charge within a few hours .
Final Verdict - This is the perfect battery back-up for me - it may not be well marketed but it certainly does do a great job!
