Manage Your Pregnancy Week by Week

... or go back

Nothing is more amazing in life than giving birth to a child and for the mother that does it, everything around her changes and she goes through some very distinct and unique states and feelings. All the soon-to-be mothers are eager to face this challenge prepared and in possession of all the useful knowledge they can get on the Internet, from books or magazines. Also, asking friends or family who already have children might turn to be useful, even though women experience pregnancies in totally different ways.

Taking into account how important it is for a pregnant woman to feel secure and prepared for the things that follow, a pregnancy week by week calendar is a must-have for every woman who wants to face her pregnancy with dignity, considering the major changes that are likely to occur with the body and the mind of the future mother.

Knowing the pregnancy week by week is the best way for a pregnant woman to keep her calm and to cope with all the changes happening to her body and the baby. The first trimester of pregnancy, as in the first 12 weeks, the woman is bound to experience the most radical changes of the whole period, because there’s the gap the initial state and all the specific symptoms. Some of the most common physical disorders include headaches, constipation, morning sickness, nausea or back pain.

The mental disorders that might appear include faintness, dizziness, fatigue or mood swings. Even if the woman has never been confronted with these disorders, they are perfectly normal and must be treated as such, considering what major adjustments is the body carrying out for the baby. You shouldn’t worry without a reason, but try to find a balance between all these unique and new experiences happening in your life.

The second trimester is the period when the woman experiences the first signs from the baby, feeling him move and kicking. This is the time when a very tight connection is formed between the future mother and her baby, and these moments of acknowledgement can never be forgotten. Another characteristic of the second trimester is getting used to some of the physical and emotional problems.

The third and last semester is known for severe back pains, considering that the fetus is now bigger and weights more, shortness of breath or changes in gait. This trimester ends with delivery and with the return of the woman’s body to its initial state. For all these reasons and more, it is of crucial importance for every pregnant woman to acquire her own pregnancy week by week calendar.
